How Often Should You Clean a Convertible Roof?
To maintain your soft top and prevent long-term damage, we recommend scheduling a professional clean every 3 to 6 months. This routine care helps prevent build-up, fading, and early wear especially on fabric roofs, which are more prone to weather related damage.
If your vehicle is regularly exposed to tree sap, bird droppings, pollution, moisture, or harsh weather, consider cleaning it more often around every 2 to 4 months.

2. Deep Cleaning Treatment
Our team use specialist soft-top cleaners designed for fabric or vinyl roofs. These products lift out embedded dirt, remove mildew and algae, and break down tough stains without damaging the material.
3. Protective Coating Application
Once the roof is fully cleaned and dried, a high-quality protective coating is applied. This creates a barrier against UV rays, mould, mildew, and general weather wear. For fabric roofs, this coating also helps restore water repellency, allowing rain to bead and roll off more easily.
4. Rinse, Dry & Final Inspection
The roof is carefully rinsed and dried, followed by a full inspection to ensure the finish is even, clean, and properly protected.
